Louis Widmer Baby Pure Products

We have developed a new product line for the traditional Swiss cosmetics brand Louis Widmer. With “Baby Pure”, the brand opens up young mothers as a new target group. The design is a consistent expression of Louis Widmer’s positioning as a dermatological cosmetics brand and fits harmoniously into the brand’s overall appearance.

The most beautiful skin of life – sensitive baby skin – requires special protection and particularly skin-friendly care and cleansing. Consequently, Louis Widmer developed care and cleansing products for babies and small children with a “puristic formula”: without perfume, without preservatives, without alcohol, allergen-free, nanomaterial-free, OCR-free, PEG-free and without silicone oils.

This uncompromising authenticity of the products (“pureness”) is also the leitmotif of our branding and design strategy. Delicate, pure and gentle are the attributes of the implementation in the design. A high proportion of white in combination with baby blue, a homogeneous design language, high-quality materials with soft-touch surfaces and loving illustrations symbolise the special suitability for babies and toddlers and enhance the packaging emotionally.

In communication, the “100% Dermatological” label underlines the brand’s competence and the unique quality of the products, while “recommended by midwives” gives mothers the necessary security. The heart-shaped key visual guarantees an attention-grabbing appeal at the POS.

The international launch of the range in the DACH region and BeNeLux will take place in April 2019 and will be exclusively via pharmacies.
