Hamburg Wärme has a new Logo
Following the referendum in 2013, the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg will exercise the purchase option agreed with Vattenfall for the district heating network in the city and manage the heat supply on its own in the future. We have positioned Wärme Hamburg as a strong local brand and made it visible and tangible with an unmistakable design
Wärme Hamburg GmbH is the new flagship of the city of Hamburg.
In a pitch, we prevailed against several competitors. The design concept expresses the positive feeling of warmth and the local solidarity of the company in a sympathetic way. In addition to an iconic word/picture mark, we developed a flexible, cross-media layout system, a striking typographic system matching the brand, a characteristic visual language and our own iconography. For the corporate website we defined the Look & Feel and in guidelines practice-relevant applications obligatorily.
In addition, we accompanied the structural and design overhaul of Wärme Hamburg’s website with a view to optimizing usability and increasing the conversion rate. The sensible balance of information, relevant content and user-friendly structuring strengthened the company’s value proposition.
In the medium and long term, Wärme Hamburg will convert to renewable fuels. The goal is a completely fossil-free heat generation for all Hamburg customers until 2030. We will accompany this way and look forward to the challenges of the future mark guidance of the heat Hamburg GmbH.
