Award-winning: the redesign of Prinzen Rolle with reclosure.

We have relaunched Prinzen Rolle to make the brand even more attractive for retailers and consumers. The German Packaging Institute agrees that we have succeeded in this and awards the redesign as “an all-round successful redesign with added value for the consumer” in the functionality and convenience category with the Packaging Award 2019.

The focus is on the simplified removal of the biscuits. The new closure is easy to open and close again, which keeps the double biscuits in the packaging crispy.

In addition to the new seal, we have also optimised the packaging design of the Choco Duo and wholemeal varieties. The new design improves variety differentiation and cuts an even better figure on the shelf. The claim “Simply open, simply out, simply closed” – perfectly sums up the decisive advantage of the new packaging and is a central element of the new packaging design.
