Founding
1992 – Syndicate GmbH is founded on 1 April in Hamburg Altona by Sven Carsten Alt, Lukas Eichenberg and Marcus Greinke. The first office is the kitchen in Marcus Greinke’s 70 sqm private apartment. There is only one customer – “Beer Brand” is immediately defined as a strategic goal.

Relocation
1996 – After a one year intermezzo in the Palmaille, the company moves to its current location in Rentzelstrasse in Hamburg’s Grindelviertel. A good choice, as it turns out. The young university quarter turns out to be a colourful, inspiring environment in which we still feel at home today. Half a floor is enough in the beginning, but that changes quickly…

Double Q
2005 – We found the subsidiary Double Q with Jan Hendriok as managing director. Double Q is an agency for the implementation of spatial brand stagings and physical corporate design projects and thus the extended arm of our Shop & Retail Design and Brand Space competence.

20 years Syndicate
2012 – 20 years have passed by really quickly. We pause for a moment and celebrate our company anniversary with the entire agency on Mallorca. This was of course not our first anniversary celebration, but certainly one of the most memorable.

Reconstruction
2016 – Time for a comprehensive “relaunch” of all premises in Rentzelstrasse. The 4th floor with the stunning roof terrace overlooking Hamburg is quickly converted into a “cookery” – and today forms the creative heart of the agency.

Generation change
2017 – The long-standing employees Martina Berger, Daniel Graf and Robert Lettau become entrepreneurially involved in Syndicate Design AG through a partner model.
2020 – Daniel Graf becomes chief executive officer.

Strategic resources and creative potential are the heart of our agency. In order to protect the independence of our agency, we do not participate in free pitches. Instead, we offer to get to know each other through strategic analyses and creative debriefings.
